Overview

Batumi will host the Georgian Youth Olympic Festival from 2 to 6 June 2026, bringing young athletes from across Georgia together for several days of exciting competitions, team spirit, and Olympic energy. The festival features a wide range of sports, including boxing, judo, wrestling, badminton, volleyball, mini football, rhythmic gymnastics, swimming, handball, 3x3 basketball, athletics, tennis, table tennis, and taekwondo.

The official opening ceremony takes place on 2 June at 21:30 at Adjarabet Arena, one of Batumi's major sporting venues. Competitions will be held across the city, including the Mukhran Vakhtangadze Batumi Sports Palace, Batumi Sports Palace, the Boulevard area near Magnolia, the swimming pool on L. Asatiani Street, and the tennis courts in the Old Boulevard. The festival concludes with a closing ceremony on 5 June at 20:00.
